Practical dispatch resources built for 1–5 truck reefer fleets — standards, not chaos.

Use these to tighten operations, protect RPM, and stop leaking profit through detention, appointment failures, and risky brokers. If you want us to run this system for you, start with a 14-day trial.

No contracts. No obligation. We take the risk first.

Short guides (quick wins)

These are written the way serious operators run: clear standards, clear documentation, no guessing.

Detention

Detention: the 5-point system that gets you paid

Detention isn’t “hoping the broker pays.” It’s a documentation + timing discipline problem.

  • Timestamp: arrival, check-in, dock, unload complete, exit.
  • Get names: guard/shipping/receiving contact if possible.
  • Document: lumper receipt, scale ticket, signed BOL.
  • Notify early: at 1h after free time begins, message “detention running.”
  • Submit fast: same day or next morning—late submissions get denied.
Reefer SOP

Reefer SOP: stop claim risk before pickup

Claims often come from poor confirmation and inconsistent proof. This SOP reduces risk.

  • Pre-cool: verify temp + pre-cool time before pickup.
  • Fuel: leave shipper with enough reefer fuel + buffer.
  • Photos: seal, temp reading, BOL (if allowed).
  • Appointment rules: early/late windows + FCFS language.
  • Rule: no appointment clarity = higher detention/claims risk.
Broker Vetting

Broker vetting: the 6 red flags to avoid

You need fewer brokers with repeat behavior you can trust. Quick screen before you commit your truck.

  • Rate games: “covered” then calls back lower.
  • Appointment fog: “we’ll confirm later” (detention risk).
  • Accessorial pushback: argues about standard detention language.
  • Facility reputation: chronic waits without compensation.
  • Paperwork chaos: missing details, vague requirements.
  • Behavior pattern: last-minute changes = profit leakage.
